Karina Eva in Business in Vancouver

Karina Eva in Business in Vancouver (BIV)

This is a great Throw Back Thursday to share with you!

Karina Eva principal of Amando Natural Stone is in the Business in Vancouver Newspaper – Sounding Board April 2014, The Official Newspaper of the The Vancouver Board of Trade. That’s correct! On page 15 of the sounding board, you will find a recap of the “Women of Promise” event which took place on the same day as Hillary Clinton’s visit to Vancouver.

I still remember how proud and excited I was to attend such an event to connect with all these women giving back and taking leadership roles in many industries, everything from construction trades to technology, social causes, education and entrepreneurship, giving back to the community we live in and gaining real life experience.

I look forward to hear what projects all of these women  are working on and their impact in the Vancouver community and beyond.

The mention in the “Sounding Board” reads:

Karina Eva is the owner of Amando Narural Stone. She volunteers on the communications committee for Canadian Construction Women, an organization that supports women in construction. In the traditionally male-dominated field of construction, that is actively recruiting women, Eva builds and maintains connections among women to help them reach leadership roles and career success.
